About Us
Youngroots Foundation is a child- and youth-focused nonprofit created to nurture potential, protect dignity and strengthen the communities in which young people grow.
Opportunity should not depend on circumstance.
We believe that a child’s beginning should not determine the limits of their future.
Across many communities, children and young people face overlapping barriers: interrupted education, limited access to practical skills, family hardship, weak support systems, health and wellbeing concerns, and too few positive pathways into adulthood. Youngroots Foundation exists to respond to these barriers with compassion, structure and long-term thinking.
Our name reflects our philosophy. Strong roots provide stability, nourishment and the foundation for growth. We therefore invest in both the young person and the wider environment that shapes their development.
